Terms of use

These terms apply to wipernote.com, run by SEMNOS SRL, [ADDRESS], CUI [CUI], Trade Register no. [J…/…/…]. By using WiperNote you agree to them.

The service

WiperNote gives car owners a QR sticker that lets other people send them a private message. Owners get alerts by email, phone notification and, if they connect it, Telegram. The free plan covers one car. WiperNote Plus is a paid yearly plan described on its own page.

WiperNote Plus

Plus costs €19 a year [VAT treatment to be confirmed], paid by card through Stripe. First-time subscribers can get a free trial (currently 30 days); we take the first payment when it ends unless you cancel before. Plus renews every year until you cancel, and Stripe emails you before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from “Manage billing” on your dashboard; Plus then stays on until the end of the period you paid for. As a consumer in the EU you can withdraw within 14 days of your first payment and get a full refund by writing to privacy@wipernote.com. Backup SMS and WhatsApp alerts are limited to 30 a month. The yearly printed sticker is posted to the address you give at checkout, within the countries listed there.

Not an emergency service

We do our best to deliver every alert quickly, but we can’t guarantee that an alert arrives or is seen in time. Phones can be off, offline or on silent. For emergencies, danger, or a car that must be moved urgently, contact the police, the emergency number 112 or the parking operator.

Using it fairly

Don’t use WiperNote to harass, threaten, spam, advertise, impersonate someone, or send anything illegal. Don’t put a sticker on a car that isn’t yours or that you aren’t allowed to use. Don’t try to find out who an owner is. We can block senders, pause stickers or close accounts that break these rules.

Stickers

A sticker belongs to the car it is activated for. When you sell the car you can transfer or deactivate it. Follow local rules about stickers on windshields; place it where it doesn’t block your view. Old Alerty stickers can be reactivated free of charge; we are not the former Alerty service and are not responsible for it.

Liability

WiperNote is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect loss, or for loss caused by alerts that arrive late or not at all, or by what other people write. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under EU or Romanian law.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time by writing to privacy@wipernote.com. We may end the service with reasonable notice by email.

Law

Romanian law applies. Consumers can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform and contact ANPC.
